Cambria Ayn is a multi-disciplinary artist, painter, & licensed cosmetologist that lives in the beautiful Pacific Northwest. Cambria is a fine artist that uses both paint & hair as powerful mediums for transformation. She is a self-taught painter with 7 years of experience painting with acrylics. Her love of color theory & visual design translates in both her paintings and in hair transformations. Her mission is to share her art with the world, and to shift perceptions that reveal the beauty in each of us.
"My paintings are inspired by mother nature, spirituality, & the landscapes that surround me. My technique & use of color is drawn from expressionist & fauvist art. I am a self-taught painter that creates original textured acrylic paintings on canvas. Painting is a sacred meditation for me. I love to intuitively create artworks that represent different perceptions of reality we each experience. I believe we are all connected- to nature, to the divine, to each other. But yet, we all see different colors through different eyes. I hope you resonate with my paintings, and that my art evokes a deep sense of wonder & love for nature- and each other.
For me, being a multi-disciplinary artist & cosmetologist means treating hair as a living canvas. By blending the principles of painting with cosmetology, I believe hair can be a powerful medium to reveal each individuals inherent beauty & unique artistic expression.”
